Redhead Solo Using a little home studio to record guitar and vocals. What an incredible unit! For a few years, I had an Apogee Duet and used iRig Keys IO, but it was so noisy that I had to use two software noise gates in addition to one pedal noise gate. I have to admit that I'm grateful for the plug and play feature of my 2011 iMac running High Sierra (I feel awful for Windows customers who read a lot of poor reviews from them before purchasing). Extremely low noise, rather premium-feeling gain and monitor knobs for the price range, and this is the ABSOLUTELY PERFECT interface to start with if you're new to digital recording. I mention this because there are video instructions available for each stage, ranging from installing the free bundled software through basic setup (more on this coming up).
