What is NMP solvents?
NMP full name is N-methyl-pyrrolidone, colorless transparent oily liquid with slight amine odor, can be widely used in chemical, resin plastic, coating, ink, dye, pesticide, lithium-ion battery, electronics and other industries. It is divided into different grades according to the industry where the product is located.

What industries is NMP used in?
For example, in the microelectronic grade industry, NMP(1-Methyl-2-pyrrolidinone) solvent with 99.99% purity can be used in liquid crystal, semiconductor, circuit board, carbon nanotube and other high-end microelectronics industries.

In the electronics industry, NMP solvent with 99.9% purity is used in aramid fiber, PPS, ultrafiltration membrane, OLED panel photoresist etching and other industries.
Electronic grade NMP is used as front-end solvent for lithium battery, which is a supporting solvent for PVDF, the positive binder of lithium battery.

In the pharmaceutical industry, the safety requirement of the solvent is high. Therefore, NMP with the purity of 99.8% pharmaceutical grade is mainly used in medical, pharmaceutical, veterinary medicine, pharmaceutical intermediates and other industries.

In the industrial field, NMP(1-Methyl-2-pyrrolidinone) solvent with 99.5% purity and industrial grade can be used in acetylene extraction, butadiene extraction, electrical insulation materials, high-grade coatings, pesticide additives, inks, pigments, industrial cleaning agents and other industries.

It can be said that NMP is an important basic chemical raw material and an important raw material for the new energy industry.
